Hagar Takes Cabo Wabo To Vegas

Former VAN HALEN star SAMMY HAGAR is kicking off the holiday season in Las Vegas - by opening a branch of his legendary restaurant the Cabo Wabo Cantina in Sin City.

The singer opened his original hard rock, TexMex restaurant in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico in 1990 - transforming the city into a major tourism destination, and inspiring one of the most recognisable tequila brands, Cabo Wabo Tequila.

Now Hagar is expanding his restaurant empire with the new venue, at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino.

He is scheduled to perform at the grand opening bash on 4 December (09).
