Gerard Butler wants to launch fragrance line

LONDON - Scottish actor Gerard Butler is keen to launch his own fragrance.
The “300″ actor is convinced he’s the only actor without his own cosmetics line, and he too wants a piece of the action, reports express.co.uk.
“I need a perfume. I need to tell my publicist to get on that. He’s not got me any worthwhile branding. Clive Owen has his aftershave, Ewan McGregor has cologne. What do I have? Nothing. I don’t know what it would be like, but I need one,” he said.

This is ridiculous. He was on the Scott Mills radio show and was simply jesting (for anyone who wishes to verify this you can visit the BBC Radio One website and query for his appearance on the show; they have the entire show online for anyone to listen to). Yes, he said those words but they are being related entirely out of context. It was a joke! I can’t believe I’m sitting here defending a celebrity but being I heard this interview I felt compelled to tell the “TRUTH”. |
