Cobain’s Daughter Eyeing New York Universities

Rock offspring FRANCES BEAN COBAIN is preparing a cross-country move to New York to attend university, according to U.S. reports.

The daughter of Courtney Love and late Nirvana rocker Kurt Cobain is reportedly aiming to attend university in the Big Apple next autumn (10).

According to the New York Daily News, Love confirmed at Elton John’s Enduring Vision event on Tuesday (18Nov09) that her daughter is eager to leave Los Angeles and has already made a list of her top schools.

In a recent post on her Twitter.com page, the 17 year old revealed liberal arts college Bard - which boasts a campus near the town of Red Hook - ranks high.

She writes, “In Tivoli NYC visiting my friend Lola who attends Bard college & im (sic) sort of fascinated with the School.”
