Cairo Festivals award to Adoor

At the Cairo International Film Festival, renowned Malayalam filmmaker, Adoor Gopalakrishnan was given the lifetime achievement award for working in the industry for so many years. Known most for his national award winning movies, Swayamwaram, Naalu Pengal, etc, Adoor was very happy about the recognition that he and his country got at the festival and felt that honesty and hard work is never wasted.
