Joe Is Broken Hearted

R&B star JOE is nursing a broken heart after splitting from his girlfriend of two years.

The smooth talking Stutter hitmaker refuses to name the woman he fell head-over-heels in love with in 2007, but admits there was a slight age gap between the two.

The 37 year old tells Sister 2 Sister magazine, “She wasn’t no superstar (sic)… just a regular person who kinda caught me at that moment. There was something very unique and genuine about it.

“She decided to make moves, and, being a little younger than me, she wanted to explore life a little bit more.”

Joe confesses he’s struggling to get over his love loss because it’s the first time he’s ever had his heart broken.

He says, “I think love is one of the strongest things I’ve ever come across. I never had heartbreak before. I’m in my 30s, so at this point I wasn’t trying to see that happening, but it did.”

But the singer is refusing to dwell on his failed romance and is throwing himself into his work to keep himself occupied.

He adds, “I’m just staying focused on work right now. I took a break and wanted to make things work but the timing wasn’t right. Timing is everything.”
