Best-selling author TERI WOODS is suing the owners of a New York nightclub for $1 billion, alleging they turned away guests at a book launch party because of the colour of their skin

Woods invited 175 friends and family members to the Greenhouse club launch of her latest novel Alibi back in August (09) - but claims most were refused entry without explanation.

She’s convinced her pals’ exclusion was racially-motivated and she’s seeking the huge payout from Greenhouse bosses.

Woods tells Hip Hop Weekly, “They left all of my friends and family standing outside. I had really serious people out there; lawyers, doctors and people in the entertainment industry. I was embarrassed. I was just walking around in tears. They took my moment.”
