Jay-z Rejected By Mgmt

Rap superstar JAY-Z is disappointed he missed out on a collaboration with rockers MGMT after the New York band rejected his request to work with them.

The Empire State of Mind hitmaker wanted to team up with the duo to record a track for his latest album The Blueprint 3, but admits he never got the chance to turn his dream into a reality.

He tells Gotham magazine, “MGMT turned me down.”
