Mane Axes Second Show

Troubled rapper GUCCI MANE has scrapped his second university gig in two weeks due to a string of legal problems.

The controversial hip-hop star was due to headline the North Carolina A&T University homecoming concert on Saturday (31Oct09), but pulled out of the gig at the last minute.

Promoters claimed his no-show was due to a “recent legal ruling that prohibits him from travelling out of his home state.”

His inclusion in the show had been met with protest from students on campus, who objected to the star’s alleged gang ties and violent lyrics.

It is the second student show Mane has been forced to axe - last month (Oct09) he pulled out of the Gucci Mane and Friends concert at the Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University (FAMU) because of legal issues.

Mane reportedly failed to secure permission from a judge to travel to the Florida concert.
