RASHIDA JONES is adding screenwriter to her resume after signing a deal to adapt her graphic novel for the big screen.

The I Love You, Man star is putting pen to paper after selling the rights to her comic series Frenemy Of The State, about an heiress who doubles as a secret agent, according to trade paper Daily Variety.

But the actress daughter of legendary record producer Quincy Jones insists her work will only be behind camera.

She says, “It’s intended for a girl much younger than me, about age 20. She has lived a life of privilege, attended the best schools and learned every language, but her obsession with spying on exes gets her into trouble and she is recruited to be a spy in exchange for not going to prison.”
