Jamie T Axes U.k. Tour

British singer JAMIE T has been forced to axe his entire U.K. tour after suffering a serious throat illness.

The Sheila hitmaker cancelled six shows on the trek last Thursday (01Oct09) after coming down with laryngitis in Australia, but was hoping to recover in time to resume performing in Glasgow, Scotland on Friday night (09Oct09).
But he has now announced all 14 dates on the British tour have been pulled, along with several European concerts scheduled for next month (Nov09).
His spokesman says, “The cancelled shows will be rescheduled at the earliest opportunity and original tickets will be valid. Refunds will be available from the point of purchase.”
