Funnyman STEVE MARTIN missed out on picking up his Best Bluegrass Album Grammy Award in Los Angeles on Sunday night (31Jan10) - because he had a prior “massage appointment”, according to producer John McEuen, who picked up the honour on Martin’s behalf.
STEVE MARTIN gave U.S. TV audiences a shocking preview on of his forthcoming bluegrass show at New York’s Carnegie Hall during an appearance on THE LATE SHOW WITH DAVID LETTERMAN on Monday night (05Oct09) by performing a banjo solo while fireworks shot from the instrument’s neck . The actor/musician will headline a show with RALPH STANLEY & THE CLINCH MOUNTAIN BOYS and THE STEEP CANYON RANGERS at the venue on Tuesday night (06Oct09).
