Way to Padma Lakshmi’s heart is through her tummy

WASHINGTON - Those looking to score some points with Padma Lakshmi might want to learn how to cook great spaghetti, for the ‘Top Chef’ host has revealed she loves the Italian dish.
The model, who is pregnant with her first child, made the revelation to the upcoming issue of VEGAS Magazine.
“I think the way to anybody’s heart is through their stomach,” Fox News quoted her as telling the magazine.
“The way to my heart is through my stomach - with a really great bowl of spaghetti,” she added.
The actress, who parted ways with former husband Salman Rushdie two years ago, also said she prefers simple food and here’s why.
She explained: “I do eat really simple things, I’ll eat a hot dog. I think most chefs do prefer to eat simple things because you’re around food all the time; you don’t want to eat all of that.
“I have a very sensitive palate. Even if I’m not hungry, I can taste something and break down if it’s good, why it’s good, what’s in it…You just have to look at it more like a bloodhound or a scientist.” (ANI)
