It was a shocking moment for director Hari to witness his dream car being bashed up right in front of him. It all happened while shooting his upcoming film ‘Singam’ featuring Surya and Anushka in lead roles.

‘Singam’ delineates Surya in the role of a cop and it’s worth mentioning that he had earlier enacted same role in ‘Kaakha Kaakha’. On the pars, this is Hari’s second film in his career featuring the protagonist in cop’s role. Earlier it was ‘Chiyaan’ Vikram performing that character in blockbuster ‘Saami’.

Shooting for ‘Singam’ has been rolling across the exotic locations of Nellai and Tuticorin. A particular sequence where rowdies bash up the police station and cars parked outside the premises was supposed to be canned. A grand set of police station was erected and few vehicles were parked in the spots.

Unknowing that director Hari’s car has been parked amongst other vehicles, the stuntman banged up the car and damaged it heavily. Immediately, Hari and his assistant started yelling at him. Later he had apologized Hari for his mistake and after some time, the shooting resumed.
