Britney Gets The Bird

BRITNEY SPEARS has celebrated the end of her CIRCUS world tour by treating herself to a pet parakeet.

The pop star was shopping for dog food at a Calabasas, California pet store on Wednesday (30Sep09) when she fell for a birdie and bought it.

An eyewitness tells People.com, “She settled on a yellow parakeet and bought a big, white cage and several toys for the bird.”
