U.s. Rocker Puma Dies

Former CANDIRIA rocker CHRIS PUMA has died.

The musician, one of the founding members of the New York band, passed away on 20 September (09). The cause of death has not yet been released.

In a statement, the group writes, “The cause is not known to us, as his family did not speak of it. He leaves behind two children - 3-year-old Aislinn A’marie and 4-month-old Aidan Todd. Chris was a great friend to the founding members of the band, and a respected musician among his friends and peers. He was a kind and gentle person and he will be missed.”

Puma played guitar for the band for five years from 1992 and helped create their unique sound which they still use today.
