Longoria Parker Loves Her Beach Home

EVA LONGORIA PARKER refused to pay millions of dollars for a luxury beachside property in California - because she already has enough homes across the U.S.

The Desperate Housewives star and husband Tony Parker own sprawling mansions in Los Angeles and Texas, where the basketball player is based.

The couple, who wed in 2007, wanted to expand their portfolio with a property in Malibu, California - but opted for a tiny beachfront home instead of a massive mansion.

She tells Britain’s Hello! magazine, “We bought it to get away from L.A. It’s our sanctuary and we love it. It’s tiny and really quaint and the view is insane.

“I have a belief that there is such a thing as too much and the last thing we need is another big house. There’s no need to over-extend yourself.

“I just don’t like having so many things. It begins to clutter your life. This is very enjoyable and low maintenance and it’s truly a gift to spend time here.”
