WASHINGTON - Katy Perry has disclosed that she likes Scandinavian pop and wants her new album to have that flavour.
The 24-year-old is presently thinking of ideas for her second record after the success of her official debut record ‘One For The Boys’.
Contactmusic quoted her as saying: “I’m kind of thinking I want to do my record like a mesh between ‘Lovefool’ by the Cardigans and ‘The Sign’ by Ace of Base. I want to make songs that people want to hold hands and roller-skate to.”
Perry, who is preparing for the release of ‘Starstrukk’, for which she teamed up with 3OH!, says: “I know that after being on the road for about a year and half, what I’m missing is a little bit of that ‘Starstrukk’ flavour.
“The new music will have that beat, that movement a little bit.” (ANI)
