Avril Lavigne divorcing because she married too young

LONDON - Canadian singer Avril Lavigne has decided to split from her rocker husband Deryck Whibley because she finally realised she had “married too young”.

The “Complicated” singer who last week announced she was separating from Whibley has “finally” realised tying the knot at 21 was a mistake, reports the People magazine.

“She married too young and she finally realised that. Avril realised she needs her own life and needs to explore things without him,” said a source.

The 24-year-old married Whibley in a private Catholic ceremony in 2006, after dating him for two years.
