Child pal’s cancer news thrills Aniston

WASHINGTON - An emotional Jennifer Aniston almost broke down at her latest premiere when she received a special note from a cancer-affected girl she helped fight the deadly disease.
In 2008, the former Friends star had featured in TV ads for St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital in Los Angeles alongside seven-year-old Ellie, who had a tumour in her brain.
Ellie and Aniston became pals instantly.
At the premiere of Love Happens, TV news show Access Hollywood conveyed a very special video message to the 40-year-old beauty.
Contactmusic quoted Ellie as saying in the video: “I wanted to say hi and I just wanted to let you know I’m cancer free.”
Aniston was barely able to stop her tears and said to presenter Billy Bush: “You just want to get me all choked up before I go in. That’s a beautiful thing.” (ANI)
