LONDON - An overwhelmed Susan Boyle reportedly compared her reception by thousands of delirious fans to Beatles mania as she stepped on the American soil for the first time.
The Scottish songbird was greeted by a 2000 strong crowd, chanting “We Love Susan” at Los Angeles LAX Airport.
“She had no idea the reaction would be quite so amazing. She kept joking, ‘It’s like the Beatles’,” the Mirror quoted a source close to her as saying.
Susan told fans: “I’m really nervous and quite overwhelmed by the reaction. It’s like nothing I’ve ever come across. It’s so flattering and I am really excited about being here. Thank you so much.”
The Britain’s Got Talent star arrived in the country to appear on the final of ‘America’s Got Talent’, where she will sing the Rolling Stones’ Wild Horses.
She will also perform the Les Miserables’ classic I Dreamed A Dream that shot her to overnight stardom. (ANI)
