Fans of Matt Damon were in for a sudden shock when they came across the news which claimed that this famous Hollywood star had died in a San Diego desert. Frantic searches started on their part all across the internet to ascertain the veracity of the so called news. As time passed by, it became evident that it was nothing but a simple addition to the list of ‘celebrity death rumors‘ which the internet has been plagued with since pop star Michael Jackson’s sudden demise few months back.
Those familiar with the internet would remember that the recent months have seen a plethora of ‘celebrity death rumors or hoaxes’ which consisted of names like Emma Watson, Jeff Goldblum and even the legendary actor Harrison Ford. Prior to this Tom Hanks and Tom cruise, two of the most famous Hollywood actors were also victims of these kind of death rumors in 2006 and 2008 respectively.
In context of the latest rumors on Matt Damon’s death, matters have been quite puzzling as the person responsible for it has used the name of TMZ.com, a renowned celebrity news site as a part of it, thus trying to add some degree of integrity to this absurd piece of news.
Newspapers are now reporting that Damon is hale n hearty and that the star is attending the international Film Festival at Venice! It is also been reported that Damon is right now focused on his next role for which he is going through physical transformation and even putting on extra weight to fit the role. In this context the star has recently said that he has enjoyed the process of putting on weight and has had great fun while doing so as he didn’t have to stick onto a trying workout regime. Fans of Damon would hope that he remains healthy and happy.
