Cowell Would Have Turned Down The Beatles

Music mogul SIMON COWELL would have rejected the BEATLES if they had appeared as wannabes on one of his TV talent shows.

Cowell is a judge on a string of programmes including American Idol and Britain’s The X Factor and is known for his scathing remarks and his Mr Nasty reputation.

And the star admits he wouldn’t have shown any leniency if the Fab Four had auditioned in front of him.

He says, “‘No’, (is what) we would have said. ‘We’ll take those three but probably lose the drummer’. Ringo, I’m afraid, we would have said is ‘bad news’.”
