LONDON - Hollywood actor Matt Damon says he had fun while working on “The Informant” because he could binge on food as well as skip his workout sessions.

“It was very, very easy to gain weight. It was very, very fun, probably the best time I had working because I didn’t have to go to the gym after work and I just ate everything I could see,” Damon has been quoted as saying by contactmusic.com.

The 38-year-old actor is playing bipolar whistleblower Mark Whitacre in the dark comedy and had to put on 13.6 kg for the role.

To gain weight he binged on McDonald’s food as well as other snacks. He also had to don a handlebar moustache, a wig and thick glasses to add to his unflattering look.
