Sculptor Jason Peters was commissioned by the Times Square Alliance to create a temporary piece of art with old plastic beach chairs that will be replaced with 400 new metal chairs on 17 August. The sculpture lines the Broadway pedestrian plaza between 42nd and 47th Street..
