LONDON - ‘Twilight’ star Robert Pattinson may soon portray a superhero in filmmaker Brett Ratner’s movie adaptation of graphic novel ‘Youngblood’.
Ratner admits that he considers Pattinson to be a potential contender for a leading role in the film, about a sanctioned team of government superheroes.
“He just feels like he belongs in that world. I don’t only see him as a vampire, he’s a really good actor, Pattinson could do anything. He just has that look. I picture him on Youngblood, for sure,” the Daily Star quoted the producer/director as saying.
The ‘Rush Hour, filmmaker, currently working on the script for the big screen version of Rob Liefeld’s comic, has also revealed that he has not presented the idea to Pattinson as yet.
He, however, insists that he definitely sees the actor as superhero material.
He told GossipCop.com: “If and when I make the movie I would consider Robert Pattinson. (But) we are still writing the script.” (ANI)
