RATNER ‘PATTINSON IS SUPERHERO MATERIAL’

TWILIGHT star ROBERT PATTINSON has been tipped to swap his vampire fangs for a superhero cape in producer/director BRETT RATNER’s upcoming movie adaptation of graphic novel YOUNGBLOOD.

Ratner is still working on the script for the big screen version of Rob Liefeld’s comic, about a sanctioned team of government superheroes, but he admits British hunk Pattinson would be perfect to sink his teeth into one of the leading roles.

Ratner tells MTV News, “He just feels like he belongs in that world. I don’t only see him as a vampire, he’s a really good actor, Pattinson could do anything. He just has that look. I picture him on Youngblood, for sure.”

The Rush Hour filmmaker insists he has yet to present the idea to Pattinson - but he definitely considers the actor as superhero material.

He adds to GossipCop.com, “If and when I make the movie I would consider Robert Pattinson. (But) we are still writing the script.”
