WASHINGTON - British pop star Lily Allen is afraid that she may never be able to quit smoking, as she is “addicted” to nicotine.

The Smile singer said she couldn’t stop smoking after she miscarried boyfriend Ed Simons’ baby in 2007 even though the habit had made her feel physically sick.

Now she feels she will keep smoking forever.

“I can’t stop. I never could… When I was pregnant I gave up, and I’ve been hypnotised a few times,” Contactmusic quoted her as telling i-D magazine

However, the 24-year old singer knows how non-smoking pals feel when she smokes in their presence.

“Even the smell of smoke on other people made me feel so sick and ill… Ed smoked and I couldn’t even go near him because he stank of smoke,” said. (ANI)
