Paula Abdul receiving “many wonderful” job offers

WASHINGTON - Pop singer Paula Abdul, who has just stepped down from her role as an ‘American Idol’ co-judge, has revealed that she has been receiving “many wonderful” job offers.

Abdul, 47, who announced on August 4 that she was leaving the show after eight seasons, is not worried about the fact that she is currently out of a job.

“At this point, there are so many wonderful things that are being offered to me,” Us magazine quoted her as saying on August 6 while taping a cameo on Lifetime’s ‘Drop Dead Diva’.

“And I got to take a deep breath, sleep a little … and go through everything,” she stated.

She also revealed that she was considering joining ‘So You Think You Can Dance’.

“I am not going to rule that out. I’m a dancer, a choreographer. Dance is a love of mine. But I have yet to sit down and discuss anything with anyone. It’s all happening within the next couple of weeks,” she said.

She would also like to do more episodes of Diva, in which she guest stars as a “real judge”.

“I hope! You know, this is exactly what life’s about - working with people you absolutely love working with,” she added. (ANI)
