MURRAY’S TAX WOES

MICHAEL JACKSON’s personal physician DR. CONRAD MURRAY is facing further legal problems - he allegedly owes thousands of dollars in unpaid taxes.

The embattled medic had his Las Vegas, Nevada home raided by the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) on 28 July (09) - a week after Los Angeles District Attorney officials confirmed they’re considering a manslaughter charge against him.
  Murray’s property, which he purchased for $1.1 million (£734,000) five years ago, is facing foreclosure, with its address listed on a tax lien filed in California’s Sacramento County Court.
  It has now been revealed that Murray owes $21,728 (£14,500) in back taxes, according to the document, which was filed on 16 June - nine days before Jackson’s sudden death after a cardiac arrest.
