‘Diana Ross, Katharine Jackson don’t get along’

NEW YORK - Singer Diana Ross is said to have missed King of Pop Michael Jackson’s memorial due to his mother Katharine.
The 65-year-old said that she stayed away from Jackson’s memorial service because she was “trying to find closure”.
However, sources claim that Ross didn’t attend the function because she and Michael’s mother, Katherine, don’t get along.
“Katherine resents that Diana became a kind of surrogate mother to Michael,” the New York Daily News quoted a source as saying.
“And she’s not thrilled that Michael named Diana as the backup guardian of his children,” the source added.
However, Ross’ spokesman has called the theory “ridiculous”, insisting that she “has deep love for the Jackson family.” (ANI)
