WASHINGTON - Katie Holmes will pay tribute to Judy Garland on the 100th episode of hit U.S. talent show ‘So You Think You Can Dance’ by performing.

Reports of the ‘Dawson’s Creek’ star doing rehearsals for TV show in the past many weeks is now confirmed - she’ll appear on the special episode, which will be aired on 23 July.

The beauty is expected to perform a routine inspired by Garland’s Get Happy song from the movie Summer Stock, which will also see her don replicas of the late star’s trademark jacket and hat for the sequence.

“She (Holmes) absolutely adores dancing, as does her daughter. It’s just an iconic look. And Katie Holmes has got the legs. Wow,” Contactmusic quoted Programme executive producer Nigel Lythgoe as saying.

Lythgoe also revealed that Holmes’ husband Tom Cruise and their daughter Suri regularly came to the practice sessions to cheer her on. (ANI)
