LONDON - A Marilyn Monroe bathrobe, which was sold at an auction for $6,000 a decade ago, has gone under the hammer again in Las Vegas for a staggering $120,000.
A private collector snapped up the robe Saturday during a two-day Julien’s Auctions memorabilia sale, which also featured items which once belonged to Elvis Presley and Michael Jackson, reported femalefirst.co.uk.
The robe was originally sold by Christie’s auction house in 1999.
A necklace belonging to Monroe was also among the highlights of the auction - it sold for $56,000.
The highlight was a signed Jackson 5 album, which was expected to fetch between $400 and $600, but sold for a staggering $33,750.
