LONDON - Obscenity charge has been dropped against a man who posted a fictional account of rape and murder of British pop band Girls Aloud.

Darryn Walker, 35, from South Shields, England was arrested and charged under the Obscene Publications Act for the sexual-fantasy story, The Daily Star reports.

He had posted the story on a fantasy porn website.

However, Walker’s lawyer Tim Owen QC told the court, “It was never his intention to frighten or intimidate the members of Girls Aloud. He had written what he had described as an adult celebrity parody and was only meant to be for an audience of like-minded people.”

The prosecutors have dropped charge against him in Newcastle Crown Court letting the ex-civil servant walk free.

He had framed the kidnap, rape, and murder of band members Cheryl Cole, Nadine Coyle, Sarah Harding, Nicola Roberts in his 12 paged erotica. (ANI)
