NEW YORK - Hollywood actor Leonardo DiCaprio is bringing his love of poker to the big screen, as he explores the murky world of online gambling in a new movie.
The Titanic star has earned the respect of the world’s top players after participating in high-stakes poker tournaments with friend and fellow actor Tobey Maguire over the years and now he has landed a new script about Costa Rica-based Internet casinos, reports mtv.com.
The yet untitled project has been written by Ocean’s Thirteen screenwriters Brian Koppelman and David Levien, who also penned the script for Rounders (1998), which starred Edward Norton and Matt Damon as underground poker players.
